Okay, yes, we get it, the stuff in the trailers isn't in the final cut of the film... But you know what? Who cares?! They've used the trailer to help set up a good movie, and instead, you get an amazing movie! By not using the stuff thats in the trailer, you are way more tense and on edge, because the whole time your waiting for something to happen thats not going to. I thought this also seemed like a good idea, because how many times have you gone to see a scary movie, and it was ruined because all the scary parts were in the trailer, so you knew when things were gonna happen? The second paranormal activity was like that for me, because they showed us all the cabinet doors bursting open and the mom getting dragged downstairs... After seeing the commercial, i could pretty much call when that stuff would happen in the movie, and it ruined the scare for me. The appeal of these movies is that we don't know what the hell is going on! And thats what makes them scary!

Some of the reviews here are the funniest things I've read in years. It's not a faithful adaptation of the book? Really? They go on an on about this even though they've seen the trailer with airships and ninja jumps and DaVinci code secret passages? What a bunch of clowns. This is the Three Musketeers in the Fringe universe and it is delightful. The acting is as good as it needs to be and quite often its better. The action scenes are great fun - particularly the aerial battle which rather strangely borrows slightly from star trek. Not a complaint as it works brilliantly. Go see this unless you are a lunatic who can't abide anything a little enjoyable and inventive. I doubt very much if Mr Dumas is really spinning in his grave. If he could see this I think he would probably have been quite pleased with it.

This movie is great, brilliant, realistic, dark, gritty and very-very emotional Batman adaptation. Forget Mask of the Phantasm, Return of the Joker or Under the Red Hood. They are great of course but Year one is in a completely different league than those. This is not something what you can see on Cartoon Network. It is clearly not for kids, not at all. It is a serious story with real people with real and logical choices (Finally Batman is realistic as a person and as a hero, he is not over the top, he uses his batarang the way he should. He is not god like...this was a big problem many times in the comics and also in the animated features too at many areas. He can be shot, beaten and also he can't beat the crap out from 3-4 people easily just because he is Batman. He is a believable person here who can really exist out there in the real world.). If you know the original comics than you won't be disappointed with this. This is how Batman should be. Also Year one is more of Jim Gordon's story and it also works great. Brilliant, just brilliant.

We all know that Pixar makes incredible movies, I personally have never disliked a Pixar film. The first "Cars" film, was a great movie, not a perfect film. It was one of the least better films, Pixar has made, but that's like saying, Insomnia was one of Christopher Nolan's worst films. I had high expectations when coming to see the film, like I always have before I see a Pixar film.

After my viewing of the film, I have to say Pixar never fails to produce a great, entertaining film. Although it doesn't reach the heights of Wall-E, Toy Story 3, etc. It still stands by itself pretty high up there. The animation is extremely well done, the look of the film is amazing. The voice actors are great, I miss Paul Newman though. Although the film is not perfect. The movie is not perfect though, the story is not great, but not bad, the movie does not have the emotional as other Pixar films, but it is definitely not a heartless film. But the film is definitely entertaining and a great beginning to 2011 Summer movie season. Take your whole family to see this movie, it will probably not disappoint. It will not only satisfy kids, but also the adults, this film is for everyone. Fun for kids, but the adults can also connect with it and will have a great time watching this movie in theaters. It is quite an adventure and I will be glad to give it a second viewing.

I had been waiting to see this movie for a long time, saw it today and it was worth all the wait.

The move has a perfect blend of emotions, Robo-fight(very Importantly not over done) and some comic scenes, what else do you want?

For me the robot fighting was great. Have been following Huge Jackman's movies off late and all have them have been good including this one. But apart from all of that the movie has an embedded message that there are things that sometimes you can not handle or overlook when you have other priorities but you can always make things right, it may be hard but it can be done.

The kid Dakota Goyo did a good job as well.

So I would say go out there and see the movie, worth every penny that you will spend for the ticket.

Even though I consider myself to be a huge HP fan I never thought I would actually give a movie from this series straight 10 out of 10. Just saw the movie today and the word epic is almost an understatement. This movie really lives up to the promises that have been made. Further more it is (in my opinion at least) the movie that stays most loyal to the book. I did miss some scenes from the book yet nothing relevant was left out. I don't want to give out any spoilers 'cause I don't want to ruin it for you but if you have read the book it will be very easy to follow and if not - well I think it still makes sense most of the time. I highly recommend you to watch it whether you're a fan or not. 10/10
